STORY TIME

My first ever branding session was in spring of 2020. I saw a post on a facebook group requesting branding photos and I reached out to the owner. I was just starting out in building my portfolio and doing free sessions so this was perfect! I met up with the owner and I received her products and I went up to my room and got to shooting! At the time I was living in the sigma kappa house MSU's campus and I set up my own mini studio in my room. I used Pinterest to learn how to style products and utilized two white post boards as my backdrop. (I now have a mobile studio specifically for products!) I LOVED being creative and helping out a local business owner!

About a year later my very close friend Shianne and I started Springyonfilm photography part time (now known as SJphoto.co!) We have been loving doing sessions with seniors and couples and even did our first wedding last year in the spring! Since graduating from Missouri State University I was intrigued of the idea of doing photography full time! With lots of work and growing in patience I am excited to

I was born and raised in St. Louis MO with my parents, my older sister and my twin sister!

I LOVE serving at my home church in springfield and being in a community that loves and serves Jesus!

One of my favorite childhood memories was when me, my twin sister and our friends would make and film movies in our neighbor and at school. We would then edit them on imovie! I think that's when my passion for photography was born :)

I love hand embroidery, playing tennis, hiking, and movie nights with friends!
